November 21 Head of School Weekly Update
Dear BACS Family,
It’s hard to believe we are already over halfway through November! As we prepare for Thanksgiving, it's a great time to reflect on the values in life that are meaningful to us. We live in a culture that often emphasizes instant rewards and "deserved" privileges, and entitlement can subtly shape attitudes in ways that weaken character, undermine thankfulness, and become detrimental to a heart of gratitude. Gratitude, on the other hand, fosters humility, resilience, and a servant’s heart, aligning us more closely with Christ’s example of humility and love.
When students focus on what they believe they should receive, they may lose sight of the incredible gifts and opportunities God has provided. Let’s encourage our children to see every opportunity as a blessing to be stewarded wisely. By cultivating a mindset of gratitude, we prepare them not only for success but for a life of purpose, resilience, and joy.
Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in this journey of raising the next generation of students.
This Friday is one of the biggest and best events that we have on campus as we celebrate and recognize the grandparents of our students. We are anticipating over 800 guests on campus, so if you haven’t done so already, you may call or email the elementary office to pre-register.
All students will be dismissed at noon on Friday, and the offices will be closing at 1:00 pm. The following week all school offices will be closed and will reopen on December 2nd. Once we return back to campus, we’ll only have three weeks left in the 1st semester!
It’s a great day to be a Bronco!
