March 6 Head of School Weekly Update

Dear BACS Families,
A couple of months ago, we announced that Mrs. Dana Duncan would retire after 33 years of dedicated service at BACS. Since then, a team has been planning the next steps for our elementary division, interviewing applicants and praying for guidance on who will be the next leader of this division.
I am excited to announce that Ms. Irene Perello has accepted the position of becoming the next elementary principal at BACS. Ms. Perello has served at BACS since 2018 and brings over 20 years of experience in the elementary classroom. She has served as the assistant principal for the past two years. Above all, she is a devoted follower of Christ with a calling to serve and lead in education.
This is great news for our school, and I can’t wait to see how God will work through Ms. Perello as she leads our elementary faculty, staff, and students. Please join me in congratulating her on this well-deserved promotion and praying for her as she prepares to step into this role over the summer. The following pages offer a snapshot bio so you can get to know her better.

We will soon begin the process of searching for the next elementary assistant principal. Please keep our teachers, students, and administrators in your prayers as we continue this school year and move towards the end of the quarter and spring break.
It’s a great day to be a Bronco!
