December 19 Head of School Weekly Update
Dear BACS Family,
The next time we see each other on campus, it will be 2025! For many of us, a new year represents a fresh start—a clean slate to create new memories. As I look ahead to the second semester, I can’t help but reflect on all that this first semester has brought—both the joyful and the challenging moments. While I may not have liked or enjoyed every difficulty, I can see how God has used those experiences to give us new perspectives, deeper wisdom, cultivated resilience, and stronger relationships. That is something I deeply appreciate. All things considered, this has been such an enjoyable semester. Thank you to everyone in our school community for making this place and this time so special.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to host our 12th annual State of the School Address shortly after we return from break. This is an evening where we’ll provide a snapshot of our school’s spiritual, academic, and social progress, analyze insightful metrics, and introduce exciting new initiatives. The event will take place on Monday, January 27th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. I strongly encourage at least one member from each family to attend. Additional details will follow after the break.
As a reminder, school resumes on Tuesday, January 7th. Monday, January 6th, is a Teacher Workday day for our faculty and staff.
I pray that each of you experiences the joy and peace of Christmas with your loved ones. May God bless your family this Christmas season and in the new year.
Merry Christmas from all of us at Bay Area Christian School!
