April 17 Head of School Weekly Update

by Les Rainey on April 17, 2025

Dear BACS Family,

What a wonderful way to wrap up the week—beautiful weather, a few days off from school (no school on Friday, April 18th, and Monday, April 21st), and the celebration of Easter, where we remember the greatest hope ever given to us—Jesus!

Standardized testing is now complete for Kindergarten through 8th grade, and next week, our 7th graders will head out on their Texas History Trip, while our 8th graders travel to Washington, D.C. For those remaining on campus, we’ll enjoy our annual Variety Dress Week—always a favorite!

There’s no doubt we’re picking up speed as we approach the final stretch of the school year. Spring is always our busiest season, and with so many events and activities, it’s easy to get swept up in the hectic pace. But in the middle of all the motion, let’s pause to reflect on the true significance of this season—the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and His victory over sin and death. This is the time to consider the weight of our sin and the mercy God poured out through His Son. I’m so thankful that a way was made for us to be redeemed and restored—praise God for His faithfulness and grace!

Have a blessed Easter weekend! And if you don’t have a church home, we’d love for you to worship with us at Bay Area Church during our Good Friday and Easter Sunday services. Friday evening services are at 5:30 and 7:00, and Sunday morning services are at 7:45, 9:00, 10:30, and 11:45.  You can find more information at bayarea.church

It’s a great day to be a Bronco!
