At Bay Area Christian School, athletics go beyond the field, embodying the principles of kingdom education and Christian values. Incoming 7th-12th grade girls may try out for cheer. Our cheerleaders occupy the sidelines for football and basketball games.
Football is offered to all 6th-12th grade boys. We have two junior high teams and two high school teams.
Volleyball is offered to all 6th-12th grade girls. Our junior high consistently fields two to three teams each season and our high school has a JV and a varsity team. Teams typically play two games per week.
Cross country is offered to all 6th-12th grade boys and girls. There is one junior high co-ed team and one high school co-ed team. Most meets take place on Saturday mornings.
Basketball is offered to all 6th-12th grade boys and girls. On average, we have 2-3 junior high and high school teams per gender.
Soccer is offered to all 7th-12th grade boys and girls. Our junior high team is a co-ed team made up of our 7th & 8th grade students. We have one boys’ and one girls’ team at the high school level.
Wrestling is available for all 6th-12th grade boys. We have one junior high team and one high school varsity team.
Swimming is offered for all 6th-12th grade boys and girls. We have one junior high team and one high school varsity team.
Baseball is offered to all 6th-12th grade boys. We typically field 2 junior high teams and two high school teams.
Softball is offered to all 6th-12th grade girls. We have one junior high team and one high school varsity team.
Golf is available for all 9th-12th grade boys and girls. We have one varsity boys’ team and one girls’ team.
Tennis is offered to all 7th-12th grade boys and girls. We have one junior high team and one varsity high school team.
Track and field is offered to all 7th-12th grade girls and boys. We have one junior high team and one varsity team.
Bronco Backers (Booster Club) exists to promote a spirit of goodwill and fellowship among students, parents, and faculty in Athletics & Fine Arts at Bay Area Christian School. It is a great way to get involved, meet new families, and support the students! The Bronco Backers participate in fundraising activities that may include golf tournaments, membership dues, spirit wear, and corporate sponsorships.
